This new hospital combines the Derbyshire Royal Infirmary (DRI) and the Derby City General Hospital (DCGH) via construction of a new building and a 40-year concession.

Innisfree and Skanska ID are providing the investment capital with Health Care Projects Ltd providing management services to the PFI Consortium, named Derby Healthcare plc.
